This is a series of two poplar tree paintings done with mixed media/collage.  In these landscape pieces I wanted to be a bit more spontaneous with my paper placement.  The teals and purples work beautifully together.  There's a fun art deco feel to these poplars.  I hand paint papers then collage them onto wood panel after painting the sky in acrylic.  This painting is 12x16.
